KEY EVENTS IN FESTIVAL HUE 2018: TRINH CONG SON MUSIC CONCERT

Trinh Cong Son music concert, with its title “Roots”, will take place at Phu Van Lau Park in the evening of April 28. Trinh’s music is for people from all levels of society though each person may perceive it in his own way. His compositions have been played in small musical programs as well as grand ones, either sung by students here and there or by singers in magnificent tea rooms with jazz style. Also, the music has been played with different musical instruments such as piano, violin, flute, wooden fish, bamboo beaters and so on.The “Roots” concert to be introduced to audiences is about the homeland, human destiny, love for cities, lullaby, Da vangsongs, children songs, a long piece of music with 13 ditties. All of these will be summed up in only one word: “Meditation”. “Meditation” is the most intense voice in the silence. “Meditation” of Trinh Cong Son is not a solution to escape but a call to love one another, get closer to each other and only love is the escape for all the suffering souls.On the presentation date, Phu Van Lau Park will be opened from 5 p.m. to offer the fans of Trinh’s music an opportunity to exchange and join community music activities. The concert officially starts at 7 p.m.
The concert will be a gathering of many prominent artists and singers such as Hong Nhung, Le Quyen, Ngoc Mai, Duc Tuan, Lan Nha, Tan Son, Saxophonists Tran Manh Tuan and An Tran, Pianist Tuan Manh, Drummer Trong Nhan, Lyricist Dance group with Alex Tu Nguyen, etc.
