Linh Ung pagoda Son Tra peninsula

Linh Ung Pagoda on Son Tra Peninsula is one of the most popular tourist spots in Danang. The pagoda is located in a very beautiful position at an altitude of 693m above sea level. The important point of this pagoda is the statue of the Avalokiteśvara Bodhisattva. It is considered to be the highest statue in Vietnam (67m). Come here and do contemplate!

Ban Co peak

Ban Co peak is located on the top of Son Tra Mountain. So, when standing here, visitors can see overview beautiful of Danang city. In the early morning, it is suitable time to climb the Ban Co peak. Son Tra Giant Banyan Tree

Banyan Tree is located in the north of the Son Tra peninsula. At Son Tra nature reserve, there is a banyan tree from long ago that Son Tra’s people claim to be “village elder of the forest”. According to report of Son Tra peninsula management, this Banyan has existed more than 1000 years with 10 m body circumference, 26 secondary roots, 25 m high, 22 m tall total tree, total circumference of the tree and roots about 85 m. Banyan Tree is considered as the heritage tree of the city. It is one of the most ancient trees in Vietnam.

Son Tra View Tower & Army Radar Station

This is another name of radar station 29 on Son Tra Peninsula. Today, Son Tra peak is still used to set up radar station serving many fields from civil aviation, air force and navy. Because this is a military area, so visitors can not go to the radar station but can stop and take pictures around the mountain.

Tien Sa Port

Tien Sa port is a natural deep water port, with a fairly long berth system. Along with the Han River port, Tien Sa port is one of the two major ports of Da Nang city, and keeps an important role in regulating traffic and economic development of Central Vietnam

Bai Da Den
